SLTV StarSeries IX's online group stage is now officially finished and NiP, Titan, fnatic and Virtus.pro have qualified for the $30,000 finals event on May 2-4 in Kiev, Ukraine.
Natus Vincere were still in possession of a spot as late as twenty-four hours ago, but Titan surpassed them with a comeback win against Clan-Mystik, after a rough 3-9 start as terrorists on de_inferno.
Na`Vi are the number one backup team if someone is unable to make it, but for now the teams traveling to Kiev are the world's top four per our world rankings. First round match-ups will be:

Once again SLTV StarSeries IX Finals will be played out in a double elimination best-of-three bracket in its entirety, as has been the case in the past, so we're guaranteed heaps of CS:GO action.
These four squads will be competing for a prize purse of $30,000, double that of the previous seasons, which will be split among the top four finishers as follows:
1. $14,000
2. $7,000
3. $5,000
4. $4,000
Exact schedule for the event kicking off in just over two weeks time on Friday May 2 hasn't been announced yet, but we will be naturally publishing our viewer's guide before the event.
After the online season has finished, with GamePub disbanding and dropping out earlier, they have been joined by the following teams as the ones who will be knocked out of SLTV StarSeries:

SLTV StarSeries X is expected to start sometime after the finals conclude in May. The best two teams from SLTV ProSeries IX will qualify for the next StarSeries season, while the other two slots will be filled via invites.
